8 week Online Foundation Yoga Course (from the 7th of October 2025)
Join this 8-week Online Traditional Yoga Foundation course designed specifically for beginners and those who haven’t practiced in a while. Whether you’re new to yoga or looking to reestablish your practice, this course offers a comprehensive introduction to the principles and techniques of traditional yoga.
Led by Linda Gyecsek, the course focuses on building a strong foundation by teaching the basic asanas (postures), the correct alignment for each pose. I emphasise the use of props such as blocks, straps, bolster and blankets to assist in achieving proper alignment, making the practice accessible to everyone.
The course includes approx. 20 minutes of yoga philosophy or essential guidelines for asanas, each time.
The underlying principles of yoga philosophy, as found in the Yoga Sutras, are linked to the practice, providing a path for holistic mind-body-spirit development.
The practice aims to bring vitality, strength, flexibility, concentration, self-confidence, and mental calm, leading to overall well-being and the integration of yoga’s effects into daily life.
